Effective for nine out of ten men, this highly effective prescription treatment inhibits the production of DHT, the hormone that shrinks hair follicles and is the leading cause of male pattern baldness.
Each pack contains one month's supply. Just one pill a day.
N.B. To maximise the success of increasing hair growth and reversing hair loss we recommend taking Finasteride alongside our Minoxidil topical spray (you can upgrade below).
Finasteride is one of only two medically proven treatments for hair loss. It is clinically proven to stop the creation of DHT at source.
For best results, take one pill a day and you should start seeing improvements within 3 months.
What is Finasteride?
Finasteride is a prescription treatment commonly used to treat male pattern baldness. Finasteride works by decreasing the amount of a natural body hormone known as DHT. Decreasing the amount of DHT leads to increased hair growth and slower hair loss. Hair growth on other parts of the body is not affected by Finasteride.
Is Finasteride medically approved?
Finasteride is the most effective hair loss treatment available to combat male pattern baldness. Consistent studies have shown that up to 90% of men who took the recommended dosage saw a reduction in hair loss and up to 65% saw hair regrowth.
How do I take Finasteride?
We offer Finasteride 1mg in the form of an oral tablet. It should be taken once daily, with or without food, at around the same time to increase its effectiveness.
How soon can I expect to see results with Finasteride?
As male pattern baldness develops over a long period of time it makes sense that hair regrowth with Finasteride also takes time. It depends on the individual, but as a base case you should expect to see an increase in hair density and a reduction in hair loss within 3 months.
Are there any side effects from taking Finasteride?
Like all medicine, Finasteride can cause side effects. Clinical trials have shown that the side effects are uncommon and affect only a small percentage of men. Side effects that some men experienced included sexual dysfunction. You should be aware of the potential side effects before taking this treatment. Please read the patient leaflet before taking Finasteride.
What happens if I stop taking Finasteride?
You need to continue taking Finasteride daily to maintain the hair that you have retained and that has regrown. If you stop taking Finasteride you are likely to lose the results you have achieved within 9 to 12 months.
